Hey you guys! Happy Friday! Do you ever wake up and start thinking about bedtime? No, just me?? Well, I don’t know about you guys, but I struggle with having consistent good sleep. Being a light sleeper with 3 kids doesn’t help. I am always trying to do, and find things, to help in this department. I’ve found that good multivitamin and probiotic helps, along with a warm cup of Golden Milk.
Turmeric is known to have some health benefits, one of them being anti-inflammatory properties. I am not a doctor, I do however love and believe that herbs and spices have a place in the health and wellbeing of our person. I grew up with grandparents and a parent that was born and lived in India and Africa, so I enjoy the taste that turmeric brings to many dishes. And this warm beverage is one of them.
Just take note, if you aren’t used to using turmeric while cooking, the yellow can make a mess, and stain some things if you aren’t careful. So just be mindful.
I hope you enjoy this as much as I do. Please comment and tag me if you do make it. And share if you make this but have some other variations, like coconut oil? I’ve added that to this drink before also.
Cheers to restful sleep ~ Jeanne
