Another holiday has come and gone, but it was enjoyed to the fullest! Our holidays aren’t centered around food, but it is definitely a highlight! A typical holiday breakfast includes Crêpes with berries and this sweet creamy filling. But this delicious treat shouldn’t be limited to just breakfast or brunch. They make a delicious dessert too. You can omit the crepe and just dip berries in this yummy cream.
The possibilities are endless! Let me know how you use your sweet cream filling. And hop over to this easy Crêpe recipe that my family loves!
Ingredients
- 8 oz cream cheese
- 1/4 cup sugar
- 1 tsp vanilla
- 1 cup heavy whipping cream
Instructions
- Beat the heavy whipping cream on med-high for a few min; until it fluffs up. Then put in a separate bowl.
- Beat the cream cheese, sugar and vanilla until smooth.
- Add the whipped cream into the cream cheese mixture and mix until smooth.
- spread on top of crepes and add desired toppings and enjoy!
To Make into a Lemon Creme:
- Finely chop the rind of one lemon, and add the juice of one lemon to the mixture, and mix til combined.
NOTES:
- We love this filing with this CREPE recipe, just add fresh berries!
- You can swap out the cream cheese for mascarpone and make these French fancy!
- For a different variation, use brown sugar instead of regular sugar and add 1 tsp of cinnamon.

It’s super easy and taste delicious. Nobody can believe I made it! Neither can I.
It’s not too sweet . It’s great inside crepes, I used it to frost cupcakes and the kids devoured them! That has never happened, I always end up throwing half away.

So glad to hear it was such a hit! My family is the same way!! This always finds it way to our table on holidays!

Would you recommend this for vanilla cake filling ?

How many people could this potentially feed?

Hi there! I am a family of 5, with a few more typically at the table. Everyone has about 2. Depending on how thick one lays on the cream, that can make 10-15 crepes, and the same with the crepes, we make about 15 crepes 9 inches or so.
