1cup chocolate chipsmore or less to your preferece
Instructions
Position rack in center of the oven and preheat to 350°
Line a baking sheet with parchment paper or silicone mat
In a medium bowl, add the flour, baking soda, and salt. Set aside.
In a stand mixer, ( or in a large bowl with a handheld electric mixer) beat the butter for about 30 seconds. Then add the sugars and mix on medium-high speed until light and fluffy, 2 to 3 minutes. Add the eggs and beat until blended. Add the vanilla and beat until blended.
Turn the mixer off and add the flour mixture, ½ cup at a time, to the bowl. Mix on medium until the flour is just mixed in, and continue until you've put in all the flour. Mix a few seconds more til the dough pulls together; it might be a little chunky.
Add the chocolate chips and beat on high for about 10 seconds, to thoroughly and quickly mix in the chips.
Drop on baking sheet with large spoon or with a scoop, dont flatten them. Bake until lightlty browned on top, 10-11 minutes. Cool on the pan on a rack for 1 minute, then transfer to a rack to cool.
Stroe the cookies in a tightly covered container at room temerature for up to 3 days.Enjoy!!
